These are the comments I have had so far - and since this is the only place where I really can respond to them:

Comments for Shri Hanuman Chalisa of Tulsidasa

Jai hunuman
It was get and fel asome when hear hunuman chal and I love it to read also thanks

Thanks Rupesh! I appreciate your taking time to comment on the app. Hope you continue to find things in your life that make you feel one with the world and a better person.

Good but
Good formatting and presentation, but only works upright. Please add landscape mode. Thanks.

Ibis93 : Thanks for your comment, rating and the suggestion. I hear ya! I would like to do the rotation.

There are some challenges here though. There are, as you might have noticed, 9 sections on each screen of the app - they become 8 when you are in 2-option mode (Hindi-English/English-Explnation/Hindi-Explnation) and again 9 when you are in 1-option or 3-option mode.

For a horizontal display, I would have to go with either a 4 section or 8 section (4|4) display. This would make the coding and pagination a little code intensive if the user keeps turning the app while in middle of the chalisa.

Bottom-line - Will find some bandwidth to get to it.

Comments for Jai Ho

Not very good, some pictures with minor information.

C'mon dude Sfci! There are some 100 pics. And this is a Flash Card app, so the info really has to be precise and quick. I'll look into adding wikipedia link in future releases. Anyhow, I do sincerely appreciate your taking a moment to comment though.

Comments for Life Cycles for Kids

Cute - This is a lovely app for showing the life cycles, but they miss the circle. The caterpillar turns into a butterfly, but the butterfly needs to lay eggs, which hatch into the caterpillar. The bird hatches from the egg, but you don't see where the egg comes from. Nor do you see the tree drop it's seeds. Just one more step to complete the cycle in each activity would make it perfect.

Thanks Tortle24! I'll think about how I can incorporate this into the app. Some are easy - as in seed - but some like frog eggs, I have no clue how to show it happening. Maybe I can do it with a voiceover? Will think about it. Thanks for the suggestion. It is appreciated.

Feeling Lite ...

The 'Lite' life cycles app was downloaded some 800 times yesterday ... and about the same the next day! The paid version that came about a week before is nowhere near that of course.

What's most interesting? Not a single comment on rating ... :P

Low calorie "Life Cycles" is in Appstore now!

Feed The Frog!

Jai Ho Update

Coming Soon - Jai Ho update that reduces the app size from 60 MB to some 40 MB.

Next I'm trying to reduce the size a little more - which is really hard to do in an app full of images - and add a brand new pics and details to the Sikhism section.

Also in works - a quiz portion which checks if one knows a god from the pic.

Life Cycles Progress

"Life Cycles for Kids" is actually doing rather ok right now. No negative comments - so that's good! :)

I have resubmitted a modified Lite version now and it's under review. It would be great to have that alongside the paid version. This is what I expect from apps I want to buy so I also wanted to offer the same.

The app is also submitted to several websites for review currently and I hope it gets a nice review and it helps make the app more visible.

Looking forward.

Life Cycles is in store now

Life Cycles for Kids is in iTunes store now! :)
Very happy about finishing this one.

The Lite version was rejected with some suggestions - will revisit it and try to get it there. For a 2 buck app it seems necessary.

Life Cycles!

"Life Cycles For Kids" is submitted in the AppStore today. This is my first app where I'm putting a lite version as well so that a user can try out the app and decide if it is something they would like.

This is also my most ambitious app yet, includes all things I know about app making - and some I don't - and I'm very happy to see this go out the door.

Chalisa is available now.

Hanuman Chalisa app is in AppStore now! and it's Free!
This is the first app I designed and wanted to make so feels really good to have it listed.

Working hard on the next one now - my most ambitious so far. Details to follow!

The fist time I ever wanted to make an app was when I looked for a Hanuman Chalisa app and found that most of the offerings were offering too much bells and whistles and not the basic common thing - a replacement for the real book.

So I planned this Chalisa app at the time, and through some learning, and false starts have finally been able to put it for consideration at the App Store.

It's good quality stuff, very functional, and ,at least to me, the best alternative for the real book.

Coming Soon!

"Jai Ho" Main Screen

I still can not believe the amount of time it took for me to figure out the rotation logic on this thing.

And I, am biting my nails.

No connection.
